April 7. Unity and World Religions: Week One – Introduction An introduction to Unity and World Religions focusing on the Five Core Unity Principles, the legacy of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore and the mystic golden thread of Non-dualism

April 14.  Unity and World Religions:  Week Two – Unity and ChristianityThe well-loved and always insightful Jim Gaither joins me in a fascinating discussion about the nature of God, our divine identity, some of the great Christian teachers like Origen and St. Athanasius, as well as the Prosperity Gospel and even a little emptiness.  We show how Unity has a rightful place in the Christian tradition.

April 21.  Unity and World Religions:  Week Three -Unity and Judaism
Finding commonalities between Unity and Judaism in the Torah, Prophets and Writings as well as in the mystical tradition of Kabbalah with guest Alan Edelman, Jewish Director on the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council. Alan is informative, honest, and generous spirited combined with deep knowledge and passion.

April 28. Unity and World Religions:  Week Four -Unity and Islam
A very eye opening hour with the highly articulate and learned Imam Omar Suleiman.  He challenges common misconceptions about Islam in clear and honest ways and shares his passion for social activism.  Omar Suleiman has been called one of the top 20 Muslim American change makers by CNN.  Learn more about the Koran, the power of prayer and service and how Islam has something to say to the Unity Movement.

May 5.  Unity and World Religions:  Week Five – Unity and Hinduism
How the vast and all encompassing teachings of Hinduism correspond with many of the essential principles of Unity with Miriam Sharma, who grew up immersed in Unity and Hinduism and is now a practicing Hindu Christian.  She shares her experiences with The Community of The Many Names of God/Skanda Vale, an ecumenical ashram in Wales.  Find out how Hindu deities correspond to Unity’s divine ideas.

May 12. Unity and World Religions:  Week Six -Unity and Buddhism
Discussing how the deep, spiritual psychology and meditation practices of Buddhism are reflected in many of the Unity teachings with professors Dr. Mark Dennis and Dr. Andy Fort. How does God fit into Buddhism? What is Buddha nature? Is the law of mind action the same as Karma? These questions and more are addressed by these esteemed TCU professors.

May 19.  Unity and World Religions:  Week Seven – Unity and Taoism
Investigate how mystical and philosophical Taoism aligns with the non-dual teachings of Unity. Find out what the Tao really means and what it can mean to you, the mysteries of wu wei, or actionless activity, and how every moment can become a prayer. We discover the trinity in Taoism, the power of yin yang, and share insightful passages from Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu.

May 26. Unity and World Religions:  Week Eight -Unity and Primal Religions
Exploring native spiritualities, shamanism, embodiment and wholism and finding dynamic correlations to Unity teachings with Pat Dorraj,Tai Chi and Qigong teacher and labyrinth facilitator.  Also covered are ancient Norse, Celtic, Greek and Roman religions, Neo-paganism, the divine feminine, and the power of pilgrimage.  The series ends on a light note with a discussion of Dudeism.
